Fig Enzyme Extract Fig Enzyme is derived from the fruit of the fig tree. It reduces superficial surface skin cells, which makes the skin refreshed and renewed. Ficain, also known as ficin, debricin, or higueroxyl delabarre, is a proteolytic enzyme extracted from the latex sap from the unripe fruit of the American wild fig tree Ficus. Aside from being a strong antioxidant, fig promotes hydration by preventing water loss from skin's top layers. It is also a skin brightening agent that slows down tyrosinase, an enzyme in the skin whose overproduction can lead to dark spots.
Pumpkin Enzyme Extract Pumpkin Enzymes are alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs).
