Sugarcane Extract Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) is a perennial monocot plant belonging to the grass (Poaceae) family originating in Southeast Asia. Sugarcane contains Lactic and Glycolic acids, which are both powerful Alpha hydroxy acid exfoliants that help eliminate dead cells from the surface of the skin. Key phenolic compounds present in sugarcane extract possess antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity, as well as inhibitory activity against skin aging-related enzymes and promotion of collagen synthesis. Sugarcane Extract is used as an antiseptic and natural exfoliant. It can smooth and brighten skin's appearance.
Maqui Berry Extract Maqui Berry (Aristotelia chilensis) is native to Chile and Southern Argentina. Used since ancient times as a healing fruit for its anti‐inflammatory properties, it is among the top fruits containing an extremely high level of antioxidants. Maqui Berry has up to 30 times more antioxidants than Acai Berry and contains anthocyanin, an antioxidant compound known for it's ability to neutralize free radicals and repair tissue damage. It has been shown to increase skin brightness and collagen content while reducing irritation and redness. It nourishes and rejuvenates the skin.
Amla Berry Extract The antioxidants and vitamin C in Amla Berry, helps brighten the skin´s complexion and treats hyperpigmentation. This fruit contains the most concentrated natural sources of vitamin C in the world, containing up to 20 times the amount vitamin C than an orange. The vitamin C in Amla Berry is bonded with tannins, which protects it from being destroyed by environmental factors so it stays effective for longer.
